Alex's Evolution- Poems From Book Two

sometimes i don't know
if i can do this anymore
i'm
not even sure
what i'm doing this all is for

i'm tired of
being tired all the time
i'm sick of keeping my poems in rhyme
(alt. ending: refrigerator)(or continue)
i'm tired of waiting
standing
]all day on my feet
waiting to step off on
just the right beat
people cheer and scream
i hear a dull roar
that's all they eve want
more
More
MORE

sometimes i just
don't know what to say
yet evidently i
speak too much anyways
i'm startled by
the truth
as it grabs me
slaps me
holds me down
i
can't
breath
doesn't matter
keep going
its gonna end
its gotta end
someday
right?

the quiet is an
agreement
the silence in the
gaps of our nonexistent conversation
say everything
our non-communication
is in-depth
revealing all
within ourselves
we share souls
without worry
but then
a single glance
we make eye contact, and all
is lost
the trust we didn't
have
the love we didn't
share
the hate we never
had
all of this
in nothing's time

every day
things get worse
some days are
better than
others
i feel twitchy
unsettling
calm breaks
it up
bad thoughts
cloud up my mind
clouds come and go

love is not a truth
i'm not saying its a lie
but i refuse to
believe a
magical bond
that will keep people so
fond
hate is much stronger
it will last longer

band uniforms
erase the social norms
that bind us to our looks
who we are
until this far
society sets for us
what we have to be
expecting that we
will go along happily
but he wants to be a girl
she wants to be a boy
it wants no part of gender
they treat life like a toy
band uniforms take what makes us different
and hides it
no guys
no girls
just us
we all wear
the same thing
the same expression
each section
not separate
just one'together
and no matter who you are
or what you feel
once you put the uniform on
it doesn't matter
on the field

when i see you
my hear aches
my world breaks
as i smile
we start to talk
my mind wanders
yet still stays on you
i know i can't have you
and that's whats sad
id die if i lost your trust
id never hurt you
not before i hurt myself
no one deserves it
especially not you

these are unedited, and are kept in their original form (for the most part)
i don't like punctuation, don't care about it. if its there, great, but its really not a huge deal to me
These are poems from my second notebook of the year. Completed, unedited.
